God's Motives

Questioning someone's motives for their activities can become an overriding response to those to whom we relate. Wrong motives can result in broken relationships, poor business decisions, and falling out of God's will. Sometimes we do not know the motive of another person. It is wrong for us to assume what their motive is until we have confidence that we know their intentions. When we respond or react prematurely, we become judge and jury over them.
God has a motive for every one of His children. His desire is to bring us into a spacious place. He wants us to go beyond our borders of safety and security so that we might experience life at a level that goes beyond ourselves. What do you think of when you think of a "spacious place"? No limitations? A large, grassy field? Open air? These are positive images. Sometimes these spacious places encourage us to step out in faith into areas where we've never ventured. Sometimes we need to be rescued by the Lord. When Peter walked on the water, God was inviting him to a spacious place. He went beyond the borders of his boat and ventured into a whole new world. He didn't have complete success in his venturing out, but it was a process that would lead him to the next victory in his faith walk with Jesus. Sometimes failure is what is needed in order to move us to the next level of faith with God. However, we must be willing to fail and let God rescue us.
The Lord delights in this process. His motive for His children is always love. It is always to bring us to a new level of trust and dependence on Him.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)
God is so good to me!!! seriously!! :D
Though the people i thought cared the most dint respond, i'm glad and thankful that HE DID!!! :D
God has been so good to me. I'm about to share an offering message tonight and He has not failed to remind me of His provision during these couple of weeks!!! :D i shall save this part for later in case someone comes and read my blog during the day and spoils the night's message .. i havent shared before apart from testifying. so .. this is actually my VERY FIRST TIME!! please pray for me guys!!! :D
but anywayz .. i just came back from the DNA Encounter weekend. For others, perhaps it was just a day.. but for me .. it surely was a weekend thing!! Saturday .. we went to this TAFE school where the event was held .. and sunday .. i think perhaps God wasnt done with me yet.. so yea .. His presence was so so tangible!!
DNA Encounter- God has touched me SO SO intimately .. i knew that it was gonna be awesome and hearing from the people who had done it .. i was really stirred and couldnt wait for it to be my turn.. i was praying and hoping that God would show me something new ..reveal something of the future .. my destiny or watever he wants to tell me .. i did hope that i could hear a prophetic word from the pastors .. but i would LOVE it even more if God would tell me himself!!! :D and guess wat? HE TRULY DID!!!!! i was assured and reconfirmed that my destiny is in his hands. .. He has not forgotten bout it even though i kinda have!! i mean .. seriously .. i just told the people once and when they came up and pray for me .. it's the only thing they ever mention!! they can pray for so many other things for me .. but nope .. it's this that they prayed for .. :D God really is in control :) but not just that .. there was more!! :D
to some it may sound .. a ridicule .. and unbelievable .. but for me.. i was so stunned and so in awe that i myself couldnt believe wat i felt as well .. i felt God's hands on my heart... i thought it was my pastor;s hand .. but as i opened my eyes .. there was no hands .. but i could feel the warmth and the pressure of a gentle and concerned hand .. seriously!! it WAS VERY REAL!!! VERY VVEERRYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow.
Apart from that, i saw lots of other things as well.. i felt the burden for my youngest sister and my mum.. i really believed that my household and i serve the Lord :D
and at the end of the encounter .. i could sense a great celebration :D .. it's as though everyone is rejoicing .. even in heaven!! and i was filled with joy!!!! there's a difference between happiness and joy u know?! joy is the strength and ability to be happy even when circumstances arises but happiness is just a feeling.. yea .. i felt joy-filled!! i was just so HAPPY htat i couldnt stop picking up my feet and sing of His love!!! :D :D
Sunday was wow. we sang a new song in church. spoke to me so much. and seeing the kids worship .. my heart was just so touched and i couldnt hold my tears :' )

ps rob disciplined us prior to kids program. Holy spirit was there, convicted so many people's heart and though i dun understand quite some fair bit but some points did hit me and i was weeping so much weiii!!! he spoke about unity .. and always always submit to authority.. apparently that was the most important meeting ever since the very start of planetkids!! and i'm so grateful that i was there!!!! to really catch ps rob's heartbeat! and i wanna serve him :D and give glory to God and make God proud :D
i cant thank God enough. His timing is ALWAYS THE BEST for me!!
from being accepted to planetkids then attending REV conference and being disciplined
from accepting Christ to planetuni camp and being rooted in planetshakers
and the most amazing thing now .. the very recent one..
He provided me with seats to fly home .. (though i dint quite know why am i going back initially) but now.. i do .. there's an asia pacific youth alive conference held in jakarta straight after i returned... it was as though the timing was so "ngam ngam" tat all i need to do is just climb aboard :D
and yes guys .. i'll be heading home on the 19th .. but u wont be seeing me until some time later :D
WHEEEEE!!!! i'm quite excited to go back now :D
oh ya oh ya!!
remembered how i told ya i was faced with tonnes of assignments couple of weeks ago and i was believing God to carry me through?? though i have not gotten all my results back for all of them but certainly they all have been pretty good grades .. not the best grades .. but GOOD enough for me :D and it truly wasnt by my own strenght!! and now that i'm facing with exams.. dear .. i believe tht HE can pull me through :D

all the best to the A levels people - ee, jo, han, baby, pat, twin, cheez and ernest!!!! though i havent been contacting u bunch for some while.. u're always being prayed for k?!!
and oh OH!! i've watched pirates of the carribean 3. . i love the trilogy!!! :D they are one of my favourites!! watched it yday :D house outing :) though we're seated separately .. i still enjoyed the movie!!! i love it i love it!!! thanks for sending us back kings!!! :P and housie.. sorry bout rushing the dinner :P least no one lau sai rite?!! heeeeee =D
oh yea!! all the best to the melbourne u peeps too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! exams are all rocking up *sense the stressful atmosphere* but U CAN DO IT K??
i love beth beth aka. bing so much!!! surely we're going through the same situations and it's SO COMFORTING to know that lee and this wonderful woman are both praying for me!!

i know the road ahead of me is long and wide and i seem so small
but i also know that Jesus is holding my hand as i venture out and take my baby steps :D

URBAN LIFE RECAP :)
uni is getting busier now especially with exams and assignments due dates coming up. they are like the most talked about topic recently.. but oh well .. we're students.. what to do :p oh oh !! jazz night and planet uni photos has been uploaded!! but i havent had the time to put them up in this blog yet.. so be patient ya?! as i said previously .. planetuni camp's.. my goodness ! now is to apply the things i've learnt into practice!! :D and oh oh!!
i went to the mothers day run on sunday after meeting up with my plc babies and staying over at mandy's place on saturday!! i miss them SO SO MUCH!!! >.< reeeeaaaallllllyyyy miss the good old times!! but surely .. we'll meet again yea?! :D i cant wait actually!!! :P pau got her liscence!!! CONGRATS!!!! cant wait for it to be my turn!! muahhahahahahhaha =D met karen at the run on sunday! it was so good catching up and thank God she accompanied me through the 4km :P well we walked all the way but we were having such a great time catching up!!! seriously, havent .. NOT EVEN ONCE i've met her in uni when we both go to the same uni!! and have relatively close classes!! ooh weelll...
anywayz ..i got this morning off :) :) YAY!!! so good. get to sleep in!! hahaha :P
but what i wanna say is tat yesterday i went to urban life. it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mei ying and jon shared :) mei's msg spoke to me very very much personally! and it really hit me on my face!! especially when DNA encounter is coming to an end! i was really excited to go to this "graduation" thingy .. i'm graduating!! hahaha no lar.. just finishing the first chapter . more is to come!! :D i heard from those who has done it before saying tht encounter is REALLY good.. like God is really there and you will really ENCOUNTER him. so .. i was indeed very stirred and really wanna meet God and get prophesised over by the pastors! i'm even fasting dinner for it!! hoping to hear a word from the pastors. then mei ying's message struck me!! we have the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth with us and He lives in us. Why wait for others to speak about us and rely on their words when the bible has already told us who we are in Christ?! i was in astonishment!! my goodies!! SO TRUE!! wel .tat was my personal hit.
what i wanna share is about jon's message! it's so encouraging!

My God knows and hears my needs.
2. Matt 6 : 33 Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.
My God will provide. He will give and fulfill your needs according to His time. Just like a kid with razors. When he was young, after his dad finished shaving, the razor is placed in a place unreachable to the lil fella. the father knows that one day, when he is old enough, dad is gonna give him the razor. for now, he'll prolly cut himself with it. so yea. God will GIVE it to you generously when He thinks it's time.
3. Matt 6 : 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow worry about itself.
My God knows the future. He is in control! Just leave the future in His hands and seize the day!
Be happy :)
Jesus led a joyful life. even to the point when He was sent to the cross. How can a person be happy still when he knew that all his purpose of living was to be sent to die.
Hebrews 12 :2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, for the JOY set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
and the amazing thing that he pointed out to us what tat.. ppl always think that Jesus is always so sad and had a sorrow face.

Dear God, This morning I want to pray for all the students who are taking, or soon will take, exams in school. This includes junior high, high school, college, uni and postgraduate students; teenagers, young adults, middle-age and senior adults--whatever their age. Please reward their efforts, help them to properly prepare and to retain what they have studied and what they have gleaned in class, clear their minds of distractions and help them remain focused on their task at hand. I pray that You will give them peace, wisdom, and knowledge. I pray that they will put this knowledge to good use in their lives and in the lives of those whom they will influence and touch during life's journey. I pray that You will give them direction for the future. I pray that You will be honored in all they think, say, and do. Thank You for Your help and guidance during this time. have you ever wonder why people as in human kind have such short attention span or so easily distracted?? (well, at least i know i am onebut of those)
i'm supposed to be doing my work in the com lab but i ended up blog hopping and replying emails instead of finishing up my metabolic essay >.<
and i HATE how i am so easily distracted when it comes to study.. or when i'm supposed to get out of bed.. i.. i .. simply cant pull myself to it >.< IT'S SO BAD!! grrrrrr C'mmon!! really have to start shifting my bad habits!!!
but on the other hand,
i'm loving so many other aspects of life :D
God is so good to me!!! with all the people He carefully picks and places in my life!!! and i'm sure whoever that's reading this bit right now, surely u're not reading this by coincident, come on!! you know what i mean.. admit it.. i know you love me!! Ability Versus Availability
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor His delight in the legs of a man; the Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. - Psalm 147:10-11
Do you ever feel so skilled in what you do that you require little help from others? Perhaps you may feel that you are more skilled than any other in your field. Does God need your skills and abilities in order to accomplish His purposes on this earth? The answer is NO.
One thing God does not need is our skills and abilities. However, He does give us the privilege to exercise our gifts and abilities for His service. That service may be as a computer technician, a secretary, an ironworker, or even a lawyer. God calls each of us to our vocations to work unto Him. To believe that He needs our skills to accomplish His mission on earth would be to lower our understanding of an all-encompassing and all-powerful God. The psalmist tells us that His pleasure is not in our strength and ability, but His pleasure is in the attitude of the heart. It is what we find in the heart that helps determine whether ability is translated into availability. You see God is looking to and fro throughout the earth for a man or woman who is fully committed to Him. A man or woman who is committed to fearing the Lord and placing his hope in His unfailing love is the person God seeks to support. "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him" (2 Chron. 16:9a). When our agenda becomes His agenda, we can expect God to fully support all that we do.
If we want to see our skills and abilities multiplied a hundredfold, then we must make them completely available to His service. Where are the opportunities in which God is calling you to be available to Him? Next time someone asks you to be involved in some activity, before you say yea or nay, make sure you check in with the Master of our decisions to ensure that your gifts and talents are being used, as He desires.

and wind was like whaling the whole of this moring,
outside my window is like gloomyy-dark with raindrops splattering on my window now.. but still .. my mood is like so OPPOSITE!!!

guys! seriously, have u felt so happy that you wanna jump around and scream and laugh till you roll on the floor but you for some unknown reason just wanna hold it in? tat's me rite now!!! but i cant contain the joy and excitement tat is in me!! the miraculous thing was that i was just asking God which age group He wants me to be, then i was like 4 years old or grade 4 .. dun ask me why 4 .. but yea.. then LOOK!! despite it being a mere suggestion to God, just like a random thought, KACHING!!! i'm in Planet46!!! WARH! wat's this weiiii. .. nothing else could explain itself better!! God, you're so AWESOME LA~ *puts on a super malaysian accent* :D
