1st post from Iphone

Just have a quick 15 mins before I had to go for another class. Am at caufield at the moment and. I think I just witnessed one of the saddest thing that could happen to a girl.

I was at the corner happily minding my own business, thinking of when to eat my crossaint when I saw this. Well, for all u know it could just be my imagination and none of these actually happened as what I thought itwas.

They were on a bench under the big tree.
He had his legs crossed while she faced the tar roads
her eyes were red and they barely spoke.

I walked past them wondering why the still silence.

...

I turned my head around and he stood up.
No goodbyes no hugs, he just walked off while

She sat on the bench, with her black jacket, staring at the black tar road.

If ur imagination were as wild as mine, we could perhaps swapped stories! But after seeing how he left her, in that manner, my heart broke. I wasn't too sure if it was just a normal goodbye. I paced up and down the walkway two or three times, trying to grab a glimpseof the girl from the back, just to check that she is ok.

Part of me was like move on. None of ur business anyway.
Part of my heart sunk, fearing that wat I imagined would have actually been her most dreaded reality.

The walkway btw gym n lib never seemed so long. Well, at least, I've never turned around, walked up n down so many tomes! )

finally, i decided to turn around and just to check on her to see that she was ok. but then .. she's already left. i wonder what happened to her

in that moment, i felt the pain of broken relationships. it scares me a little and made me question if i would ever be ready. and all the questions regarding the right man.. blah blah blah.

MAN! stop breaking people's heart! haha.

but you know what, i know relationships can be scary, but i still believe in love.

We love, because He first love us.
God, help us to recognise the brokeness in this world and overcome it with Your love.

Amen to the last sentence. :D

Thru relationship rite, I tink it's either we grow stronger and more in love or fall all the way down. And of course, it's actually up to us whether we want His strength to grow or not..

Oh yea, i would have tok to that girl ( i tink) because at the moment i'm owez imagining wad if Jesus ignored me like I've ignored someone

The world may show you some romance scenes, sexually provoking quotes and temporary happiness moment to tell you: This is love.

However, Christ brings us to the front of the cross, where a bloody man was once abandoned the heaven , nail pierced and suffered to pay the price of everyone's sin, and tell you: This is love.

Relationships must be built under foundation of Christ because God is Love. Only through Him we understand the true meaning of love.

God will not choose our partner, but He helps us, guides us and teaches us to have wisdom and freedom to choose our partner.

"But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you." Luke 12:31

what a sad scene....
By the way, Anonymous, you said God will not choose our partner, where is that in the bible ? hehe :)

Well, in the bible, you can never find God will choose our partner for us.
Actually i found this in a magazine from city harvest church.

I think I know u bro, Teck Keong. lol

hehehehehe...yea..I saw you in church before also. Are you involved in any church ministry ???

Since bible doesn't say anything about God will choose a partner for us, does it mean that God will not choose a partner for us ?

by the way, just confirmed you as friend on fb :)

cool bro! Did you see me? lol.
Currently serving the worship and youth ministry.

If God is the one who choosing the partner for us, break ups and divorces will no longer exist. Sometimes, it's bcos human, even Christians will choose the wrong partners.

But we know, He granted us the freedom to make choices, including choosing our partners. However, everything is under God's plan. just like our life, everything is under God's plan, but we are free to disobey and resist His way or not.

Get it? God gave us the freedom to choose our partner. We can choose anyone to become our partner.

The important thing is r we willing to commit ourselves to Jesus?
R we willing to seek Him to understand the true meaning of love?
R we willing to commit ourselves to grow in His words so that He can bless us with wisdom and joy for choosing the right partner?

BTW, I think it's not good to answer these in here cos I think we are out of "leave your comment". Hope that I answered ur question. God bless you.

Thx bro, but how did u know it is me??

haha...don't worry leaving comments which are not related to the topic. I'm sure munyee doesn't mind! right munyee ?

This is getting more interesting. Yeah..I agree some of the things that you said like everything is under God's plan and are we willing to commit to Jesus.

Well, let's say, I ASSUME that God actually choose/provide a partner for me, obviously break-ups or divorce won't make sense anymore cos God choose her for me right ? But then I can say the devil will come to steal kill and destroy our relationships, hence the break-ups and divorces. Now that makes more sense isn't it ? hehehe

this is what i think,
the fact is Bible doesn't say anything about God actually choose our partner or not so we cannot simply assume.
the truth is God has a plan which is not to harm me but prosper me.
the fact is break-ups and divorces are happening and will happen
the truth is what meant evil for us, God intended it for good. (gen 50:20)
:)
Isn't our God awesome?? I love this verse so much, what meant evil for us, God intended it for good.

By the way, I heard ps. andrew left dy, so who's leading up the youth now ?

anyway. i got something to add onto tk's comment.

i know that break ups and divorce happen but i dont like the phrase "will happen". cos, you're carrying a negative spirit into the relationship and i dont think tat's acceptable.

i'd love to carry a more positive attitude into a relationship. i believe in happily ever after, like u've always known :P

lol, I should say thanks for the permission of "spamming".

Class stand, thank you Mun Yee~~

but Jesus is more popular than u here, lol~

Btw, bro, good words & good points, I agree with ya.

I believe any relationship that is not contain the foundation of God words, will eventually give the devil a chance to destroy one's relationship. It really make sense.

Sometimes, when people talk about relationship, they only mean for the good part, but ignore the sacrifices that must be made.

If we willing to commit our relationship to God and let God words root in our heart, we can make a relationship fireproof. But still it doesn't mean the fire will never come.

If a relationship doesn't work out due to some reason,
Sometimes people tends to blame God for not blessing their relationship; sometimes they even blame devil for destroying their relationship.

Of cos we must not see the things like this, just like u said in Gen 50:20. Instead, we haveta treat the negative thing and sacrifices, so called evil stuff, as good intention of God to train us.

becos we must know that Love is not a feeling, it only can be showed in action. it need to be trained and nurtured & It needs times. True love only can be showed and proved if a relationship experienced hard times and circumstances.

Jesus displayed an example of true love when He bore His own cross to Golgotha. It's a damn long way from the city, He could just "teleport" to the place and let the crucifixion ends faster, but he didn't. He willing to bear His own cross and be crucified, just becos He wanted to show He loves us.

We can choose anyone to become our partner, but it doesn't mean every choice we made are good for us. that's the freedom God gives us.

1 Corinthian 6:12 stated: All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful.

However, He will always send Holy Spirit to remind us whether it's the right time or the right choice. It's up to us to obey or not.

But we know God loves us, and He still love us even when we failed Him.

Amen for that.

Yea, Pastor Andrew left to HK to continue his further studies. Currently Tommy's mom, aunty Marie is taking over half of the chinese youth (below 18). The worship department is taken by Bro Lau .

It's quite difficult to cope up with different people, but God has His plan rite?
