MERDEKA~! MeRdEkA ~! mErDeKa~ !!

this is the day when all malaysian have their hols and celebrating our independence day .. well ... not to crap on the history and stuff .. just to express how much i miss the patriotic atmostphere .. it;s kinda funny here like how excited we get once we found some1 tat actually can sing a few patriotic songs such as "wawasan 2020", "bahasa jiwa bangsa" " jalur gemilang" and "kerana mu malaysia" .. tammi and i were so excited when one of us started singing those songs.. we dun have a holiday here but just a malaysian lunch where we get to eat malaysian food and the money earned will go to charity ..
last night i was helping anisha to cook the vegetarian curry .. which was kinda shortcut way coz we were just chopping the vege and just added the packed kuah into the big pot .. and anisha the "main chef" was in charge of it .. where as me ... who arent so familiar with cooking malay food/.. just helped to cook the papadum .. not tough at all .. if i screwed it up .. i'm a total failure .. all i need to do was just put the papadum dough into the microwave .. heat it up for 30 sec and cool it down .. soon it'll be cripsy and yummy ~! how easy was it huh ?! anisha was like the head of it so she had all her say in it ... and when others tried to help out she just told them off .. which is something tat i'm not so fond of .. but then overall the cookig session was great fun and it took us the whole prep time .. which was a good thing or else i have to day dream the whole prep .. >.< .. okok .. back to today's lunch .. it was great . with lots of m'sian food tat i missed out for 2 whole months .. :O well .. at least some part of my desire is patially cured ~! hehehe ... we didnt had heaps of variety but enough to fill up our tummies .. we had vege curry, chicke curry , roti jala, mamak mee goreng, chinese fried beehun and papadum (i cooked them) .. hehe .. i can t stand the temptation tat i had seconds .,, i wasnt helping alot but just a fair bit .. i was in charged of drinks .. simple task .. make sure every1 has drink and pour cordials or tea to cups and tat;s it .. i also helped in stacking up chairs .. due to this .. i missed part of human relation .. which i shall explain below .. but it was great and i felt so patriotic .. like how i could never be this high just becoz of merdeka day.. i was humming and singing all the songs tat i would be embarassed to sing like negaraku and etc if i was back home but today i was singing it all day ..
